The back bone of the band program. The concert band is where students learn about style and how to play in a group. It consists of all the instruments in a band program and is made up of students in grades 8-12. There is also a middle school band which consists of 6th and 7th graders as well as a beginning 5th grade band.

Also 8-12 the marching band is a highly visual version of the concert band. Working on Memorization, and marching in step the students went this last year to Czech Days, they participated in the Scotty stampede parade, and for the first time in 5 years they went to Menno and competed against bands the same size.

The most visual performances happen at basketball and football games. Pep band is there to pump up the crowd and provide school spirit for both the home and away teams. Here are the dates for upcoming games that the pep band will play at.

Lessons are provided by Mr. Schneider on a weekly schedule for 5-8th graders. They are required to have 8 per quarter. They are pivotal in developing skills on the instrument and they are individualized so that the student can learn at their own pace.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
